Arthritis

ArthritisOsteoarthritis, also called degenerative joint disease, is the most common arthritis of all. In many people it causes pain and in some it causes partial or even total incapacitation. It is also known as subluxation degeneration and is considered to be the result of too much spinal stress that creates wear and tear on the joints. It is often a sign that the spinal column has been out of balance or alignment for many years. Just as a bent door hinge will wear out with repeated use over time and limit the full range of motion of the door, misaligned joints of your spine can do the same. When spinal damage goes uncorrected, the body deposits calcium on the surface of adjacent bones that aren’t moving properly. If you have arthritis, have your spine checked for vertebral subluxations by a chiropractor.
